Jonathan Bilmen

Jonathan graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2005 with an MBChB (Hons), a BMedSc (First class honours) and a PhD in Biochemistry.
Since then, Jonathan has gone on to train in Anaesthetics, completing his training in 2014 with a sub-speciality interest in Neurosurgical Anaesthesia.
Jonathan currently works at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Consultant in Neuro-surgical Anaesthesia. Allied with his research interests, Jonathan also is a member of the Malignant Hyperthermia Unit in Leeds (www.ukmhr.ac.uk). In this role, Jonathan is a member of a team of anaesthetists who perform diagnostic biopsies on patients suspected of having this potentially fatal disease. Furthermore, Jonathan is also actively involved in laboratory research into this condition.
Jonathan has worked weekly with Rob in both the NHS and private sectors for 3 years. They have built on their professional relationship to instigate a spinal surgical service at Methley Park Hospital. In addition, Jonathan works with other spinal surgeons at the Nuffield Hospital in Leeds & York and the BMI Duchy Hospital in Harrogate.
Tiffany Halsey

Tiffany completed her medical training at the University of Liverpool in 1998. She then moved into an anaesthetic training post in Mid-Yorkshire as a
Senior House Officer in 2002 and subsequently went on to become a registrar in anaesthesia in Leeds.
Tiffany completed her training in Anaesthesia in August 2010, specialising in Neuroanaesthesia and Obstetric Anaesthesia. Subsequently consultant neuroanaesthetist 2010. Currently, Tiffany works as an Anaesthetist specialising in Obstetrics, Neurosurgery and Endocrine surgery at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Occasionally Tiffany also helps out with diagnostic muscle biopsies on the Malignant Hyperthermia Unit.
